Who has better pay in future? A mechanical engineer or an architect? Which among these two is the best paid engineering discipline? I want to do either mechanical engineering or architect engineering. I want to know about salaries of both these engineers in countries like United States, Australia and UK? Which industry pays higher salary in future? What is the future and scope of both these fields?

It does not matter if you are a mechanical engineer or an architect. What really matters is your performance and determination.. if you are determined to perform good  at your job then definitely better opportunities with better pay and salary are waiting for you. Always remember that hard work never goes waste. No education/engineering degree is good or bad (highly paid or not). It’s you who is going to make it good or bad for you. You are paid high salaries based on your performance.

I don't know about looking these up in Australia or the UK, but you can get a lot of great information about the future of careers and the median pay in the us from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics website, as well as glass door's website (although they tend to have more regional/company specific information).  Hope that helps!
